Security cameras

Cameras, wired like we wire everything

Clean runs, no dangling cables, no guesswork. Scoped on a walkthrough, because camera work priced blind is camera work priced wrong.

The same discipline

Low-voltage is low-voltage

Cameras are the same trade as everything else we do: signal and power moved cleanly through a house. The crew that hides a TV cable inside two feet of limestone is not going to leave a camera wire flapping under your eave.

We install and configure the system, aim every camera with you watching the feed, and make sure the footage actually lands where you can see it, on your phone, tested before we leave.

One honest note: we quote cameras after seeing the property. Count, surfaces, cable paths and recording setup change the number too much for a flat rate. What you get instead is a real figure that doesn't move.

When is the best time to install security cameras in a new build?

Before the drywall closes: open walls turn camera wiring from an attic-crawling retrofit into a clean pre-wire, and the AV pre-wire visit can carry it in the same trip. Most of the new-build camera work we do in Kyle, Buda and Manor happens exactly this way.

What we cover

Homes, new builds, small business

  1. 1

    Homes

Doorbells, driveways, entries, back fences. Aimed with you watching the live feed, not guessed from a ladder.

  2. 2

    New construction

Pre-wire while the walls are open. The cheapest, cleanest camera install a house will ever get.

  3. 3

    Small business

Registers, doors, stockrooms. The crew's commercial background means your shop gets big-venue wiring habits.

Austin, and out through the hill country

We cover the city, but most of our stone work is west and south: Dripping Springs, Driftwood and Wimberley. Long drives are normal for us. Ask and we'll tell you honestly whether we can get to you today.

Questions

Straight answers

How much does security camera installation cost?

Camera work is quoted after a walkthrough, not off a rate card. Camera count, mounting surfaces, cable paths and recording setup vary too much for an honest flat price. Call, describe the property, and we'll scope it properly.

Can cameras go in during construction?

The best time, by far. Open walls mean clean cable runs to every corner of the house, no attic crawls, no surface conduit. If you're building in Kyle, Buda, Manor or anywhere walls are still open, call before drywall.

Do you install cameras and the TVs on the same visit?

Yes, and it's the efficient way to do it. Same crew, same low-voltage skill set, one invoice. A new house gets TVs, soundbars and cameras in a single day.

Will the camera wiring be visible?

Our standard is the same as our TV work: cables inside walls or routed out of sight wherever the structure allows. If a run has to surface, you'll know exactly where and why before we start.
